Hosokawa Micron announces mobile apps for equipment diagnostics using XpertRule App deployment technology

Global supplier of powder processing equipment Hosokawa Micron has announced the availability of a mobile app for diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with milling equipment. The new app was launched at the Powtech international trade fair for mechanical processing technologies at Nuremberg in Germany in April and is currently available on iOS and mobile web in English and German language versions. The app is designed for use by field service personnel and customers on a global basis and provides immediate access to expert knowledge and experience for troubleshooting equipment problems. It identifies both the potential causes of equipment problems and suggests solutions for their resolution.

Mobile apps are developed in the Knowledge Builder Authoring environment and deployed to the XpertRule Cloud where they can be accessed via Smartphones and Tablets or Desktop Browser clients.
